Characters

The characters named in my book correspond to people in real life. Here are their real names.

Bella is my sister, Bridget Yang.

Chase is my sister's fiancé, Ross Bendetson.

Dr. Beryl, the psychiatrist that the casino I worked at (Commerce Casino) was pressuring me into seeing under threat of me losing my job if I didn't comply, is Dr. Gregg Baringoldz. They arranged for me to see this particular psychiatrist.

Dr. Schauen, the psychiatrist who quit her job shortly after making the diagnosis, is Dr. Abigail Shoenfelt of Regions Behavioral Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My sister arranged for me to be hospitalized here and to see this particular psychiatrist.

Dr. Cane is Dr. Khan of Elemental Health, Khan Psychiatry, and Regions Behavioral Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My sister arranged for me to be hospitalized here and to see this particular psychiatrist. He continued to insist that I was schizophrenic and simply lacked insight into my illness every time I questioned my diagnosis.

Faith is my therapist Faith Scanlon in the Massachusetts General Hospital First-Episode and Early Psychosis Program, which is a program that my sister referred me to after I moved from Louisiana to Massachusetts. She realized that something was seriously wrong with my medical case after working with me for more than a year.

Dr. Blue is my family therapist Dr. Cheryl Foo in the Massachusetts General Hospital First-Episode and Early Psychosis Program, which is a program that my sister referred me to after I moved from Louisiana to Massachusetts.

Dr. Raven is my psychiatrist Dr. Desta Lissanu in the Massachusetts General Hospital First-Episode and Early Psychosis Program, which is a program that my sister referred me to after I moved from Louisiana to Massachusetts. She tried to have me institutionalized and talked in circles after I questioned my diagnosis.

Several other patients (not me) left one-star reviews for her on WebMD.
